I have a question about interview

:( I married in Aug. last year. However, my wife and I don't really live together after marriage as I need to attend school in east coast while she is working in California. This is my biggest concern for the interview. Do you guys have any suggestion about it?

Hi,
I am in same situation.I got married lat August and I am working in Northeast and my husband in South. We just had had our interview in TX and Officer never asked anything about it.So don't worry even if ask why you are living in different places..as long as you have a honest answer.Good luck

Which address did you guys put in the forms? Did you put the address of the person applying for the greencard or for the sponsor? I mean, where are you going to receive the notice from them? Every form asks you for an address. I am currently living in a different state than my husband (USC) since he graduated last year and I'm still going to school (we're moving in together after May). Should we just put his address in every form or we put his address in the forms that he needs to fill out and my address in mine? It's just that we heard that changing our DO might add 6 months to the process so since I'm moving in with him we want to keep his DO and not mine. How exactly does that work? Is the DO based on his forms or mine?

Payala,

In my forms I put my Husband's adress as he is my sponsor.I think it is best to keep just one address in all the forms as two different adresses will lead to confusion.According to me it would be best if you have your husband's adress on each form as that is going to be your permanent adress.

That's what I was thinking too. After all I'm moving in with him just a couple of months after filing the forms.
So, in that 325form, did u put your husband's address as your present address and your 'actual' address as your last address? A lawyer that we went to see told us that it would be a good idea to put both addresses as present. that sounds kinda weird to me. We're looking for a new lawyer anyways b/c we didn't like that one.

payala,

In form G-325 I have put my present adress as current adress (which is different from my husband's address) as I am living there now.Other than that I have put my husbands address on all other forms. At ffirst I was confused too but it worked this way.I hope this helps

Thanks for the answer!

ok here's another question
in form I-130 in question 21 we don't really know what to put. It says last address where you lived together but we are not moving in together till May. Did you put his address, yours or did you leave it blank?

payala,

The last adress we lived together for for two months fater our wedding when I was out of job.So I just put that for 2 months. And officer didn't question that becos my interview was too quick after we applied (2 months) and I also told him that i was moving with my husband as soon as i get job in his city.

Thanks so much! We decided to just leave that blank. When he was still going to school we couldn't live together (parents against it till after marriage) but now we're just waiting for me to graduate. I hope that doesn't raise any red flags. I doubt my interview date will be as quick as yours....I wouldn't complain if it is though =) So I basically did what you did, we put his address in every form except the G325 where I put where I'm leaving at right now. Thanks so much for the quick response! We're sending the forms tomorrow, finally.
