I hate TSC: March 02 case transferred to Atlanta Office

Now I really hate TSC:
RD: 02/21/02
FP1: 04/01/03
RF1: ack by TSC on 08/11/04
RF2: ack by TSC on 12/15/04
Both RFE regarding SR issued for both AP and I-485 from same Officer#374 which I never need since I entered USA on AP
FP2: 12/03/04
AP approved on 12/30/04 after 1 year and 27 days
And now instead of approving my I-485 the officer transferred it back to Atlanta office. What the hell is he/she doing? I think this officer has some kind of grudge for me. And I Bet you this person is also Immigrant
I am so much frustrated the way this guys work over there, First of all they do not know the law and secondly they are trying to misuse their power. I think I should just give up and go to Canada

I totally understand your frustration. The bunch of officers dont know what the hell they are doing . Now that its transferred to a local office u can see whats going on. I guess after around 6 weeks get an infopass appt and go meet with the officer and find out if your files have reached and also if your security checks are completed. Also i guess in most local offices go by your ND and hence u should get your appt soon.

How did you know about the transfer and did u notice any LUD changes in the recent past after u submitted your RFE.

As far as RFE reply is concern, I went to Local office and spoke with the lady over there. She also mentioned that I do not need SR, however, since I was there she advise me to register which I did, and funny thing is that she did not know any thing about registration software. I filled almost all the form on computer by myself. Some of the information we were not able to find out on there form, for example they did not have option to select my status as AP, so she suggested me to check on H1B.
As far as LUD is concern, it changed on 12/15/04 and then again on 12/16/04 “RFE received message” and finally yesterday along with the message that “the case has been transferred to local office and bla bla…”
This person who ever is handling my case is really stupid, because he is the one is handling my AP as well as I-485. He issued exactly same RFE on both cases both time and after receiving the RFE, LUD changed and he approved AP bases on RFE and transferred I-485, I am wondering why he approved AP and not I-485 when the RFEs are same for both case, why he did not transferred my AP in local office as well. And why he transferred the case when the processing date is way beyond when I filed.
Now, I want to know if there is any one sort of “CUSTOME SERVICE MANAGER” in TSC that I can speak with and discus this unfair practice of the Officer 374. I will defiantly write a letter to my congressman and will try to find out the person in TSC as well. Do you guys know anyone I can contact.

I am sorry to hear your plight. One good thing about your transfer is that ADO is processing 09/2002 RD (offically) and has moved to RD of 12/2002 (unofficially). Therefore, you will be called for interview pretty soon.

Another bad thing is that ADO is a mess. My RD is 08/2002 and I have visited ADO quite a number of times asking them as to why I am not called for an interview and every time I used to get a mere, "Sir, everything looks good and you are just not scheduled and you may be called for interview any time soon." They don't give you any information as to why you are not being called for interview etc. That can be very frustrating and I hope you will not have to undergo that pleasure at ADO.

To me personally, if TSC is bad, ADO is worst.

We all can understand the situation u are going through,

In my opinion, do not go on that 'complaint' path now, be patient and wait.

The reason is there are many factor in "Standard 485 procedure and guideline"(read my old thread to find that 100+ page guidline in pdf) provided to officers, that trigers to transfer not only u are assuming 'SR". issue
If they deny you or personaly u believe u are victim of their mistakes than u choose that path.

But I think this is one of the ways to release this frustration. I always maintained my legal status for last 10 years, always obey law, and send the documents they requested from me on timely manner, but now its too much. My case is very straight forward, I have not changed any employer, nor did I move. But I guess this person has some kind of grudge for me. They did same for my EAD card, then AP and I-485.
 
With respect of feelings u have,

All I Shared my personal opinion, if u heart advise u that you/your pettition would be beneficiated walking on that path, or it may make them U-turn what they have choosen. you may listen ur heart and brain together. asu mentioned ten years u have spent ur best life part to achive ur goal, and in last movement just don't ruin it.

They want u to be frusted, angry, tired, and give hardtime, and you have best defend is be patient, Practice and keep your faith very strong and unshakeable, pary and leave everything on Almighty God, if God has choosen time and written G.C in your luck it would come to you on right time, and noone can stop it. :D

This is truely a terrible situation. You've waited so long since Feb 2002, complied with all thier idiotic RFE requests, and how do they reward you for being so patient and compliant? They put you in the longest line of all... the Atlanta local office line.

DAMN...TSC SUCKS!

I pray that poongunranar is right and that you get a quick interview scheduled soon, with an approval and stamping on the same day.
 
Hi Saragodhian,

Guess u should meet the local director and explain your situation. I guess lisenting to your experience he/she should be able to expedite the interview process. Hold on patiently till u finish the journey and then i would recommend u doing the feedback and complaining. As POJ has stated u are so close to the finish line. Good Luck to u.
