My husband and I had our interview today. We were married in the US while I was on a student visa (OPT). The interview went very well. At the end we asked "Is she approved?". She said you will hear from us by mail in about 3-4 weeks. I thought they told you approved or denied right at the interview. Do they?

I am worried. Also she told me that I can go home with my Advance PArole if I want to, but i am reading posts here and it says that after you approved you can not use your AP.....what do u think?

I am doing my interview in Pitt tomorrow also. Did the IO say anything else? Was there anything that was outstanding? Did the IO say anything was pending?

I am not sure about the AP statement; hopefully someone here will shed some light on that. However, if there is nothing outstanding you probably will get approved.

not really. My husband is 25 years older than me, but it shouldnt be a problem. We had everything needed. The interview was fun, I was almost sure that she would say u are approved. The FBI name check has cleared. so no wait there.
Isnt it strange that she didnt give her answer right there (Approved or not)? I asked about the stamp in my passport but ths esaid taht she can do it only in amergency situations, such as if someone died and i have to go home ASAP.

Maria we (I and naaj13) would be very happy to know the kind of questions you were asked. I wish you goodluck as well as maggyban also let us know how your interview went.

?'s asked varies

Blute,

Every case is different so even if she tells you what questions they asked it is highly unlikely you would be asked the same questions. It is even a bigger chance that you will have different interviewer an they all proced with their interviews in different ways. If your marriage is bona fide then you will have nothing to worry about.
Best of luck

My advice would be , log on line to the USCIS and do check case status online and see what updates has been made? If it has said approve or not, check it out, also you can call the toll free number and askabout the status of your case.
Good luck, and Ypou will be fine.
Vy the way my interview is TODAY, so guys pray for me.:):):)
