I guess each country has their own rule about Passport Renewal. For mine in particular, if passport never renewed within 5 years since expiry date, they consider the holder has abandoned his/her citizenship. When I renewed it 3 years ago, it was barely 2 weeks to reach 5 years limit after it's expiry date. I am just hoping that my citizenship will be going through smoohtly.
 
Just came back from cop with renewed national passport+gc+rp (rp I got long time ago). The only question was: 'How long was the trip?'

I have showed both but he took the green RP and since i had several stamps in it (and visas), he just stamped it and didn't look into NP.

Sorry fasaavedra, I thought you searched the forums for my previous posts...anyways, I am AS6 from former YU and POE was CHI. There is nothing special about my trip except that my CoP does not officially exists anymore so I actually now have 3 'CoPs' where I travel. And funny as it may seem, I could get all three NPs but so far got only one:)
