According to gurus, I should not expect no approval due to the fact that visa numner is not available, but I guess it is a blessing the fact that I wont be stuck on name check.

My PD is Dec 2003. ROW is not current for the date. Can I still call IO to find out if my name check is cleared?
On 485 recipt it says to call after the priorty date is current for your case.

no, i dont know any of that, I just know when they sent my package 06/01/07 and uscis got it on 6/4/7

Did you apply for an EAD card too?
I remember having to submit a lot of passport sized pics when I submitted my applications, but I applied for my AP, EAD and i485 all at the same time.
