Did you enter digits for "EAC"? I believe it is 322. So you would enter 13 digits, 322-xx-xxx-xxxxx.

Unfortunately, I seem to be in a worse-off position than you, so you probably don't want my advice!
Calling up TSC or NCSC doesn't seem to be of any help to me. Some members of this forum have had very good luck with the POJ method, though, so that's one option worth pursuing.
Another option is to set up an Infopass appointment and ask the officer what the hell is going on, although you might want to drop the "the hell" phrase.
