Finally! I was really worried, but the whole interview process went very smoothly, 30min later I was out of there!

The while process from the initial mailing of the N400 took about 4 months.

Now that I have been recommended for approval, in how long can I expect the letter of oath?

I went to the SF office, and was not asked to show my tax returns, etc. What are the chances that I will get an oath letter? Or is there still a chance of things going wrong?

Also, thanks to everyone on this board!!! You guys are super!

Hi, Congrats on getting approved ( I hope to say the same very sooon ).

If you got a recomended for approval letter then just wait for your oath letter and don't worry about anything going wrong from this point on ( since they already interviewed you ) you are in the clear even if they did not ask to see your tax returns not everyone is asked for tax returns.

80% of the time, you should get your oath letter in 2-3 weeks.

the other 20%... might take 3-6 months, if not longer for the oath letter.

the moral of the story...only celebrate when you have the citizenship paper in hand. Though.. getting approved is a good thing.
