I-EAD from non-local Service Center

Hi,
My EAD is expiring 6/20. Its 90days i sent my EAD Renewal.

My local BCIS Office doesnt issue interim EADs.

I called up the 800 number on the web site but they hum whatever you see on the web site.

My lawyer is suggesting going to a BCIS office in chicago. Did anyone try going to BCIS other than their own. What are the other options if your AP/EAD are about to be expired.

I would appreciate immediate responses.

Can anybody who went to obtain an Interim EAD come out with their experience, docs that they carried and other info that can help.

Docs for Iead : Original or copies of 1-140, I-485, I-765 (Ead Extn). Clearly mention about Iead for GC applied via Employment.
For Iead in Newark they don't ask for photos, they take photos. Do confirm with your local bcis office.
