I've been in the US for almost 20yrs now, since I was 8yrs old, I just got married in Nov 2007 to a US Citizen, what do I need to do to file my application for residency?? Should I wait until a new law passes or should I just do it now?? How long is the process??
 
have you entered with a visa or just crossed over at night? if with a visa, you have to have proof (your I-94 card, passport and visa). If crossed over without inspection - well, you can't get a GC. Sorry.
