I had my interview on 9/27 ( Los Angeles). I married to an american citizen in this June. the officer checked very detailed, where we met, dinner or lunch for the 1st date, etc... about where we met, he asked my husband, since he isn't clear about that inland area, he answered the street name wrong... but the officer is very friendly and it seems nothing wrong with the whole thing. he joked with us from time to time.. he let me show him the joint things- i showed him joint banking account, joint credit card statement, lots of pictures... he took the copies of banking statements and credit card statement, also he copied the photos too and filed into his file said in case others review it.
After all those, he said my name check is pending from FBI and showed my husband on the computer.
He said congratulations to my husband, but i only considered it as the congratulations on the marriage.
When we got interviewed, it was less than 4 months after our marriage. No stamp, no promise about the welcome letter, i forgot to ask him if our interview got approved or not. We just left with lots of disappointment.
Anyone can explain to us what this meant?
Thank you very much!
