I currently have an "Active" US Bank Account (opened while on H1B), now on B1/B2, any problem?

Hi all,

I had been to US couple of years ago on H1B. I haven't closed my "Checking"
account(s) and Credit Card(s) and am using my cousin's address in the US.
I recently got a B1/B2 Visa (without any problem) and planning to visit US shortly.

Is it "mandatory" to close all the Checking/Savings/Credit Card accounts when
we leave US ? Can a B1/B2 visa holder "maintain" his checking accounts, opened while on H1B ?
Any problem at Port Of Entry i.e, can they track our Bank/Credit
activities and question about the same ?

Keep in mind the possible worst case scenario. If you are sent to secondary and they decide to check all your baggage including your wallet, they may interpret a US issued credit card and a sign that you use your B-2 visa to live in the US. Just a word of caution.

i have also an Checking Accounts and Credit Card and I informed the bank before to leave USA (I was on J-1) and my new address. outside USA was recorded there.
there are no problems having a residence outside USA while having a bank account there.
