I completed 180 days after I-485. Can I change the company?

Could you please answer my question?

I just completed my 180 days after filing for I-485. I got my EAD & Finger
Printing Done in Jan\'02. I am employee of A(they filed my Green Card) amd
working as consultant to a company B(client). Company B is forcing me to take up
a permanent position in their company and otherwise they may fire me.

As I already completed 180 days, Same job responsibilities and there is salary
increase. Is it okay to change to the company B?

There won\'t be any objection to company A if I change. Please advise.

Yes, you shouldn\'t have any problem.

I know a friend of mine who did the same thing, and he got approved last month. Since you already have an EAD, you don\'t have to do anything. Just take the job. To avoid RFE or interview, make sure that nobody notifies INS about your change of job. Even if you do get a RFE or an interview, you will still be fine.
