Hi All,
I became a US Citizen on last Friday. Yes my journey is over here. My husband's journey will start very soon though.
This forum was very helpful to me during this whole time. I have gained a lots of knowledge here. Thanks to all of you for all your help.

Here is my Oath experience:
My oath was in Nashville, TN. My DO is Memphis. I live in Arkansas. There were 49 people naturalized with me from 26 different countries. In district court the immigration officer was calling each of us name one by one to collect the oath letter. You have to fill out the back side of the oath letter which basically asked you about any changes has been happened between your interview and oath. When my turn came, I went up ther and handed over my oath letter, GC and re-entry permit. I looked at the certificate and saw that my name was written correctly on that. I felt relaxed. But after seeing my address on my oath letter, the officer asked me if I have moved in Arkansas recently. I said no I have always lived in ARkansas. He said if I am from Arkansas, I am scheduled for oath in Nashville by mistake  . I suppose to have a oath in Arkansas or Memphis but not in Nashville. After hearing that my heartbit went up. But he said its there mistake but since I am there and they have my certificate, I can attend that ceremony. I felt better after hearing that. This is the first time I loved a mistake done by INS :) . Though I have to drive 5.5 hours oneway to reach Nashvile but I am not complaining about it. Rest of the stuff was very straight forward and formal.
I noticed that they are not looking at those answers about marriage/divorce, any trips to abroad between interview and oath. They are not asking any proof or anything. So that is just a procedure? Does it not affect you anyway?

Here is my time line.

Amishah,
I am so greatefull that you are done. A big Congratulations !!
did you apply for the passport yet?

Thanks a lot. I has a nice time in Nashville. I enjoyed food in Indian restaurent since we have only one here and that is also not the good one.I spent a whole day at Chattanooga.
I haven't apply for passport yet as I am not in hurry for that. I will file for my husband and for my brother & sister first and then I will file for passport.
They had 2 oath ceremony on 25th of March and one was on 24th of March. So they do have 3 ceremony each month. I asked the office if he can tell when will be yout oath but he couldn't.

Congratulation. Did you have the issue of the name check? How long it took for your name check to be cleared?
It doesn't seems like I have an issue of name check because I finished in a average time frame of my DO. I don't know when they started my name check and when they finished.

Congrats

Congratulations Amishah,
I just got the letter today giving me that date (April 22nd) and time when my oath ceremony will be. I had my interview on March 1st in Pittsburgh, PA. The location for my oath ceremony is about 20 minutes from where I live in WV. I sent my app to VT in Aug, had my fingerprint in Sep and Int in March. The officer who interviewd me, asked 4 civics questions other than asking me the same questions from the N-400 form. After that he told me that they will have to get more info. After reading several other forrums, i was under the immpression that name check is what holding me and i thought it was going to take months and months as I have a very common name and the name may also be on the list of point of interest. I was pleasently surprised to get the letter today as I have been waiting for it to be over so that I can get the ball rolling to bring my Mom & Dad over here.
