I and spouse have different interview dates

Hi,

I and my spouse have interview dates one day apart. Is it possible to have one of us reschedule to have the interview on the same day? Or just walk in with the spouse to see if they let me in, though my appt is not until next day?

any suggestions?

It really depends on DO and how busy they are. Some may be willing to accommodate you on the same day as your spouse. You can always schedule an Infopass and see if they can schedule you for the same day.

I've never heard or read of anybody being able to reschedule an interview to just one day before or after the originally specified date. Reschedules always seem to be at least a couple of weeks, if not months, after the original date. Never heard of anybody doing a walk-in interview either.

A few months ago read of a case where the spouses were scheduled one day apart. They both went in ready and while the wife was being interviewed she mentioned to the IO that her husband's interview is tomorrow but he wanted to interview same day. IO said that if he is ready to interview he will accomodate. They both passed interview. So take all your docs to the DO in case they are willing to accomodate.

There was someone who posted here that said DO allowed the spouse to do a same-day interview when the spouse was originally scheduled to have the interview later in the week.
