My case is a little complicated.
I entered the U.S. on student visa. I kept on taking classes to keep myself in status. In Aug 2002, I was enrolled in 2 units from my school and 9 units from a community college. In Dec 2002, my I-20 needed extension, so I approached my int'l advisor, but they had problems with SEVIS. So I had no I-20 from Jan 2003. In September 2003, I got my H1B approved. I worked for my employer but never got paid for it. This was from Sept 2003 to OCt 2004. Nov 2004, I went back to India for my stamping, but was refused under 221g. I've been in India for over a year now.I've been accepted in one of the private schools in the U.S. for a management program & my interview is scheduled some time next month. Do you think I was out of status for some period? Would tht affect my student visa again? Please help me. Thanks again.
