thank you very much Ric, on everyone\'s behalf. We all were looking for some tangible information, after the halt in VSC approvals. So this is a relief.

just to confirm, are you saying that the IIO said that 485 approvals have not halted and that they are indeed processing Feb 2001 cases?

If so, that is trmendous, since they said they were processing Dec 2000 cases only a few days back

Yes, IIO said everything is moving smoothly except that people are slow and scare to open the mails.

There is no halt on anything, no tigher instructions. She said "at this moment, VSC is processing Feb cases".

Hi..Ric,

Thanks for the information but wait for some more time. My I-485 MD is 9th August & Still waiting for the Receipt. I talked to IIO officer yesterday & she told me currently they are entering 20th August data into the system however looks like it is not consistent becuase my lawyer has a UPS return receipt which says they received the parcel next day & I am still not in the system.

Waiting for plastic card

Hi, I got my passport stamped with temp. PR stamp on Sep.19 2001. Where can I track the progress of similar cases? I was told to expect the card in 2-7 months. Can folks with similar PR stamp date post their status. By the way, my AVM hasn\'t changed yet. Still says my case (I485) has been approved.... Thanks.

congrats you got your approval and stamping.

but can you please tell us why you posted this in this thread. as you can see, most of us are not even close to that yet and you would do better to get answer to when you will get your "plastic card" from folks who are fortunaltely placed liked you.

In this thread, we are barely trying to get to the first phase of the approval journey.

Any way, good luck. I suggest, start a new thread for faster answers
