I took my Oath today with my wife at the Jacksonville, FL DO. The oath took place at Florida community college . There were about 400+ people sworn in at the Oath ceremony.
We reached there at around 8:45am our Oath ceremony was scheduled for 9:15. There was a huge line. The IO's were checking our invitation letters and sending us to a desk where other IO's were sitting with our certificates. We are aksed to check our certificate and sign on the top and given a seat number.
After we were seated the IO gave a speech about America, Showed us President Obama's Speech, the star spangled banner was sung. Then the Oath of Allegiance and they gave us our certificates.
Everything took about an hour and we were out by 10:30 AM
Now i have to move on to Another journey OCI. Thank you every body on this forum for all the helpful posts and best of luck to others who are waiting for their citizenship
