You don\'t have to wait
If your interview has been scheduled you can go ahead for your medicals. Infact, the consulate recommends you do your medicals atleast 3 days before the onterview.

medicals are valid at least 6 months, if not more...
so you don\'t have to worry.

Just check with doctors, since I heard
that they are not giving advance appointments to control the extra rush etc., Not a legal advice, though. You can just cross-check to ensure that it is not a problem.

NO, you can\'t do it from US. I saw atleast a case in front of me
when I went for CP (Chennai), he got a blue envelope and was asked to do medical in Chennai and go back. They may not reject it but it (Chennai atleast) is not accepting it for sure.
