Hello All,
I am really worried about my N-400 Application now. I filed on 9/1/2009 my N-400 Application. At the time I still was married to my now Ex Husband who serves Active Duty in the Military. Anyway, when I filled out the application on the computer, I checked the 5 Year box (since I had my GC for over 8 years) but since I knew my divorce was pending and didn't had a divorce degree yet I called USCIS to confirm. After explaining to the Customer Service Rep my situation she suggested to file whatever applies to me at the date of filing (which would be married and send application to the Nebraska Service Center due to my Ex being in the Military). Before I mailed the N-400 application on 9/1/2009 I crossed the 5 year box out and checked the 3 year married box (with a pen). Well, I just received a few days ago my divorce degree. After reading some Threads on here is it possible that my Application will be denied now because I got divorced?
In addition, I also just read on here that you have to add on your application Parking Tickets. I got a Expired Plate Parking Ticket back in 2004 which has been paid but I didn't mention it because I wasn't aware that parking tickets are citations.
Is there any way I can call the USCIS to update my marital change and parking ticket? Other than that I got not other issues.... I am worried to death that they will deny me now because of that. Please help me....
