I am feeling really sick of the US immigrations system

i did not say australia is less racist than usa..........

i said....i did not find any loud/blatant racism being displayed........atleast with me or my friend.........either in usa nor in australia...

of course....we are people with a strange skin/hair color.......who have a strange accent......u do have to give some benefit to those who have never dealt with our likes........its called as dealing with strangers.....its not racism...

It's a culture thing. In US, one can settle down be just one of 'm. No other culture allows one to melt into easily.

It's not a question of whether people are nice or not. It's whether they consider you as one of their own or just an outsider living among them.

You get that right, man. It is all about choices. And I choose to do it this way.... :p

One thing I am sure, if you are leaving home for a better job or better education or tomorrow, we are those "very lucky" and "very unlucky" one at the same time.

That's some "Deep Thoughts" from you...ala...Jack Handy. Stop pitying urselfs for choices you consciously make with full independence.

True. US is the best case for immigrants.

Imagine foreign workers in India on H1B "taking" local jobs. There would be mayhem! Germany offered "green cards" for tech workers which was short lived.

I will reiterate......i did not find much difference in life between australia and USA......except the size of the economy and number of jobs.......and of course lifestyle is a bit different because you live and work around big cities in australia...

but i know some problem areas around sydney where u dont want to venture too much....because those areas have high polulation of unemployed/uneducated foreigners...(lebanese, phillipines etc...)

so if anyone knows otherwise....please share the information...

sorry no sympathies for you....

in fact i strongly beleive we are highly responsible for our plight...

if we all accept the low quality of material life in our home countries.....there will not be a necessity to feel desperate for a Green Card by a foreign country...

remember we are all guests...........and we are all not welcome anymore.........but we still want the host to be nice to us ??

racism in Australia? no way..well unless you are referring to some outback area..Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and even Great BArrier Reef - people there were the same to me as they are in US & Canada

anyways, I don't know why racism always seems to come up - its there everywhere, and within your home country (even mine too)...US has a lot of places where racism exists (its in people's minds too) but again big cities like NYC, Chi, SFO, LA, have less of it as compared to southern areas..same in Toronto, Canada.

Beggars cannot be choosers. If we are so fed up...let's up and leave. Why don't we?

And techy, if you think Australia is less racist than US, you are gravely mistaken.
