i am a green card holder and got married recently my have doesn't have a greencard yet, she is applying for DV lottery this year but in the application there is a spot for a secondray applicant which is me i already have a green card so how is that work

Putting your details there doesn't mean you will be applying the visa with her. When completing the form, there is a column that ask for details of your spouse. No matter whether the spouse is a GC holder, that section must be completed once an applicant is married.

I agree with the previous one. You have to fill it out but you aren't going to apply later on...btww you probably know she can get a GC when you become a citizen....so you have 2 chances for her if the DV isn't won...
