I am a graduate student here in USA( having F1). This spring is my last semester so i'm taking CPT this semester. So after finishing all the documentation in my university and my employer, i went to Social Security Administration to apply for SSN,about 10 days back.I Applied for it, they processed my form but finally at the end they gave me a different kind of letter stating that your I-94 is not going through ( means it is not getting verified). We have to send it to authorized/concerned department, it may take upto 6 weeks. They also told me if it get verified then only we will send you your SSN otherwise we will send you a letter informing that it's not verified, so you cannot get SSN Now. That is the reason why i'm in trouble now and i'm really scared. I also informed to my university, but i yet to get response from them. so please, help me, give me suggestions. What do i need to do, really i don't know anything????
