Hi,

I have changed my H-1 (four times) since the last time I visited India.
The I-94 card in my passport expired.
Currently, my I-485 AOS is pending and I am leaving US to visit India and return using AP document.

1. Do I need to turn in all I-94 s of H-1Bs I got (bottom portion) along with the I-94 in my passport ?????

2. Do I need to give a copy of my I-485 notice from INS along with the I-94 at the time of departure??

I would appreciate your prompt response.

1. The airlines manages the taking of I-94- you don't have to think/choose or worry about it. They would take the latest only- rest are useless. The expiry of original I-94 is irrelavent.
2. The AP is for coming back only. Take all original copies and a couple of photo-copies too, maybe also your 485 receipt.
Best of luck on your trip.

---------You can turn in all the I-94s to airlines.

---------No, you don't have to give the copy of 485.

You can use H1 instead of AP for coming back, if you are still working on H1 and have the stamp (not expired) on the passport.
