I-94 Question : H4 (Wife and Kid) travel to USA with Husband new H1B and I-94

Hello there,

My wife and kid has valid visa stamped(old employer) till 2008 and they are in India. Recently I have transfered my H1B to new Employer and I got my papers with I-94 till 2009. My question here is..

At port of entry will they get I-94 till 2009 or 2008 after showing my new docs?

------------ if they show ONLY passport Visa stamp that is valid till 2008 they will get I-94 till 2008. But if they show passport valid visa stamp AND your H1 approval at POE they will get I-94 till 2009(validity of your new H1 approval notice)

Do they need transit visa to travel(Bangalore to Charlotte) via Franfurt by Lufthansa?

--------------- if they have Valid H4 visa stamps I dont think they need transit visa.
