I-94 Question for AOS people

When a person starts working on EAD, his H1B is voided....fine.
So for travel, can use Parole.

Now the question is ,

1. What would be the I-94 validity period at the POE while a person enters using Advance Parole.

I entered the US using AP on June 13, 2004, and they gave me a I-94 with "Paroled until June 12, 2005". One year seems to be the answer.

I got an extension for my h1b. The problem is the name they entered in the new I-94 is with spelling mistake. Will it cause any problem when they compare the expired I-94 and the new one.
