Can someone tell me if this is true : if the visa extension got denied, you will have 30 days to leave USA ? Or the date you rcv the denial letter you'll need to leave right away like w/i 24 hours?
I was here for 5 months last time, I left for 2 weeks and came back but was only given 1-month stay this time, the customs officer said I can apply for visa extension but they marked NO EOS/AOS/COS on my I-94 card, if they wrote No extension, why the officer told me I can apply visa extension? It's very confusing... I was invited to a friend's house for Xmas holidays and I really wanted to go but my visa will expire in 2 weeks...
