i-94 issue?

This is one of my friends information.

He came to U.S through company A. While he transferred to company B, he got H1 approval with new i-94 number (which is different from the one which received at POE). That guy has no idea about i-94 number. While he was leaving the country, he gave both i-94 cards at POE.
He came back to US and again transferred to Company C and again to company D.

My cquestion is Is there a problem in third stage(485)? Because he got a different i-94 number while transferred to company B.


Please suggest/advice/share your thought.

I had two different I-94 numbers , one I got at the POE was expired at the time of filing I-485 and another one came with H1 approval was valid. this scenario came because I went out of US while processing H1 transfer. H1 got approved had old I-94 number.

So, I went to Bahamas and came back with new I-94. Applied I-485.

As long as I-94 you got at the airport is valid, you are fine.
