I-94 issue

My parents recently entered US on 10-yr mutliple entry Visitor visa.
My dad filled out I-94 forms for both my mom and himself.
He accidently filled out his details (name, DOB) on both I-94s
The immigration officer at the port of entry did not notice it and neither did my parents. We just discovered the mistake.
My question is:

- Can this be corrected? What is the procedure for correction?
- Should we request the correction with the USCIS or with CBP?
- I looked into form I-102 (replacement I-94) USCIS form but it states that it should not be used for CBP issued I-94s.

Any advice is welcome.
Thx,

I-94 mistake rectified

I got my mom's I-94 name error rectified today.

Went to the local airport (which is also a small international airport and not the original port of entry) with my parents.

Talked with the CBP officer there, who was a very accomodating gentleman and explained to him the situation. He knew how to handle this as he had encountered a similar case recently. There was another lady with him. Together they corrected the I-94 for my mom and put the original date of entry, the original I-94 number and the original date of authorized stay. The whole process took about 15 minutes.

Hope this helps anyone in a similar situation in the future.
