I-94 issue experts please help

Hello I came here on H4 and changed to H1.Now I have H1 status but no H1 stamping on my passport.My I-94 is going to expire shortly .
I filed 485 as a dependent.If I get and use EAD , should I still extend I-94?If I have to extend it, should I revalidate my visa in which case do I get a H1 stamping in this country?
I am in a confused state , please help.

You will have a I94 portion in your H1 approval notice. As long as it is not expiring you can work on H1 without doing anything. If you want to work on EAD then your H1 will get invalidated. If you are planing to use EAD you may have to fill I9 form with the employer.

Whenever you got your first H1 it must be valid for three years so don\'t worry look at your approval notice for H1 and the bottom portion should say I94 with new exiration date of atleast 3 yrs later.
