My wife is coming from India via Toronto to New York. She just now rang up and said her Immigration was done at POE, Toronto but not given a I-94. The immigration official said that thay do not give I-94 for AP. They have stamped the AP though.
Any ideas what should be done now ???

good question

Did'nt they stamp her passport ? something like "parolee admitted for
one year" with validity date. You might want to search this site for more information, hope this helps.

gambler,

This sounds right. I-94 relates to your visa and if your wife is travelling on AP, I-94 should not be needed. The passport stamp and stamped AP are all she needs.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your replies. It is strange because I have travelled 3 times on AP and have got I-94 on all occasions. The last trip being Nov 03. I will contact my lawyer and update the results.

This is first time i am reading this. Even Murthy chat and resources says they will issue I-94 valid for year. I-94 may be issued at border post in US. Please check with your attorney. Later it should not create any problems.
