Hi,
I have a visa issued by Company A through which I came to US and is expiring on 15th Feb 2004. Later my H1B was transferred to new company B,which took over Comapny A. The new H1b issued by company B, I gave the notice of approval and I-94 sent along which is valid till Dec 2005.
My I-94 stamped on passport is valid only till 15th Feb 2004. Would I need to go to India before 15th Feb 2004 to get new visa stamped , would I be out of status if I don't do that.
Could some one clarify please....
regards
Kris

------------- Dear, if you have H1 extension approval notice through company B valid till December 2005 AND you have extended I-94 attached with your approval notice (lower right side of the H1 approval notice) then you don’t need to go out of the US to get Visa stamp you can send your passports for visa revalidation to DOS in USA now.
