I-94 Extension

Hi Guys,

I am working for company ABC on H-1B Visa status valid until April 30, 2004, my passport has USA VISA stamped valid until April30, 2004 and the sponsoring company listed is ABC.

Company XYZ filed for my I-129 petition and got my H-1B approval valid until Dec30, 2004 this petition was approved in Nov, 2003. I traveled out of USA in Dec 2003 and returned on
H-1B sponsored by company ABC. I-94 issued to me has validity until April 30, 2004.

Do I need to file any application with INS before starting as an employee with company XYX also please advice on how do I extend my current I-94 to be valid until Dec 30, 2004, the I-94 along with the I-129 approved petition sponsored by company XYZ is valid until Dec 30, 2004 but I surrendered that I-94 when I left the country in Dec 2003.

------ This ABC or XYX confuses a lot better you should have written company X or company Y
----- If you departed after your New h1 extension was in hand then you were supposed to show your Passport Visa and new h1 extension approval at POE then you could have got I-94 valid till your new H1 extension/transfer approval notice

2 When did you got approval of new H1 transfer through B is new I-94 attached
3 When did you last got your I-94
