I-94 expired. New i-797A with I-94 number but not date. Is I-94 extension required?

Hi,

I came to US on H4 visa.
My H4 is valid till APR 2011.
My passport expires in June 2010.
The Immigration officer gave me I-94 valid till June 2010.

Now I recently got my H1 and Change of Status approved. I received I-797A with two perforations at the bottom. One is the left hand side one, says
"Detach this half for personal Records".
That has a Receipt # , followed by I94#. Then Name, Class and Valid From.
This I-94 number is same as my current I-94 of H4. It says the Class as H1B and is valid from Oct 2009 till Sep 2012. Now I am not sure if this validity is for H1B or for I-94 of H1?

Also, the other small perforation is the I94 which is the right hand side one, which is said, "needs to be stapled along with the white I94 in my passport."
It has I94 # followed by Receipt #, my name and date of birth. But it does not have any date or class(like H4 or H1) written on it. While my current I94 has the stamp with date(Jum 2010) and class(H4) on it.

Can I stay in US after June 2010 ?
If no then what is the process for extending my I-94?
Do I need to get my H1 stamped for extending my I-94?

Immediate help in this much appreciated.

Thanks

Hi, I do have the same problem in my I-797A. I applied for an extension of stay for my B1/B2 visa, it got denied so applied for a motion to reopen and reconsider my case. Decision of approval came 16 months after my I-94 expired.

I-797A -Duplicate Approval Notice
Class B2
Valid Oct.16,09 to Oct.17,09

USCIS sent the Approval Notice Oct.22,09 and I received it Oct.28,09. Does this mean i have to leave US right away? because it is soo out of date. Im so confused, the attached updated I-94 doesnt have expiry date on it and it has a big DUPLICATE text on top of it. And here's the thing even if i received my approval on time nobody can do a 1 day reservations in an air ticket to fly back whre u from? Please I need your help, I already called USCIS about this matter, and the answer I got was..."You should be fine in your future travels back here in the US." It's a great news and so glad about it, (I have a 10 year multiple entry expires 2018). But for now what i wanted to know is how many days I am allowed to get things ready and go home?

Please Help me too.

Thanks
