My mom has a 1 year B1 visa that expires in June 07. She has her I-94 with a duration of stay that expires on Mar 28, 07. However, we recently got her stay extended upto Aug 1, 07.
Question is - can she stay beyond the expriy day of her B1 visa ?
My understanding is that 'duration of stay' is independent of the expriry date on B1 visa.
