I have read to send in the original...and I have also read to send in a copy (front and back)

Which one is it????????

I will be filing concurrently:

I-130
I-485
I-765

Thanks!

I am wondering where did you read to send an original ????
Send a copy because the original will be taken from you when they approve you at the AOS interview !!

Thanks for your reply. Can someone tell me where I can get a list that tells which documents need to be notarized and which ones dont ? This question is related to I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131, I-864, I-864A. Thanks in advance :)

To be honest with you, you do not have to notorize anything. When you are called for the interview, just take the originals with you. The interviewing officer has the authority to notorize your documents. Incase you want to be on the safe side, make sure you notorize affidavit of support, your birth certificate and get it translated if its not in English. I never notorized my copies. Just gave the interviewing officer all the originals and she notorized them for me.

Thats pretty much it. I cannot think of anything else right now. Maybe others can help.

Personally, I had the copy of my birth certificate and the translation of my birth certificate notarized !

Thanks...I will send a copy of the I-94

It actually says in the I-485 package that I received in the mail 9after equesting one online) under the REQUIRED DOCUMENTS section, to include : ORIGINAL (in bold) I-94

This may be an old form, or possibly just for the Seattle office...where I'm not filing anyway. So, again, I'll send a copy...thanks....

The Affidavit of Support also must be notarized

How does it work? Do i have to notarize the affidavit of support before i send the package or send the forms now unsigned, wait for the interview and sign it in the presence of the immigration officer?
