i-94 card

I'm a student with F-1 visa and I'm planning to go to Canada and Europe for my winter holiday. I'll be traveling from US to Canada, Canada to Europe, Europe to Canada and from Canada back to the US.

My questions is that the 2nd page of i-20 says that I don't have to surrender my i-94 card to travel to Canada or Mexico from the US. However, I will go to Europe from Canada.

Do I have to surrender my i-94 card and who should I turn that card to? Will I get another i-94 when I get back from Europe to Canada or from Canada to the US?

Thanks

by plane.

here's the routes just FYI:

Little Rock, AR - Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (transit only) - Toronto, ON

Toronto, ON - London, GB

London, GB - Montreal, QC

Montreal, QC - Toronto, ON (transit only) - Dallas/Fort Worth, TX (transit only) - Little Rock, AR

Hope this gives you clue.
Thanks!

You can submit your I-94 when you are checking in for your international flight to Canada. However, you have to have a valid visa and a signed I-20 to come back to the US.

If you don't submit I-94 and return from Canada WITHIN 30 days (never mind the European part), you don't have to have a visa, but have to have a signed I-20.

I would urge you to get advice from your INternational advisor, since they keep up with the most current rules on travelling. Look up their website, it has to have the info.

thanks for the advice!

one more thing, actually, will i be given the i-94 card onboard from Canada to enter the US? If I did not, would I be able to find one at the airport before the immigration line?
