Hi,
I am on H1 visa in US. My family went to my home country on vacation about couple of months back and they are returning to the US in a few days. However, a few days back we have discovered that their I-94 cards were not taken by the airline staff on their exit from the US and they are still in their passports.
Is this going to be a problem for them when they re-enter?
Is it the responsibility of the immigrants to give the i-94 card to the airline staff on exit from the country?
Is it safe/advisable to remove the old i-94 card from the passport to avoid unnecessary complications/questions at the port of entry?
Please help.
