I-94 and Traveling on AP

If I travel outside the country and enter back using my AP , will I still get a I-94 card when I re-enter .

Also what are the documents general one would need when re-entering the country usinG AP and any precaution that we need to take .

Though I have travelled myself on AP, I have read on this forum that you get I-94 of one year validity. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. Also, you should carry your 485 receipt and EAD (if you have it) along with your AP.
