Hi all,

My wife travelled last year using AP. When she came in, they stamped her I-94 or her passport(I am not sure) payrolled until 7/2004. We are still waiting on our GC. Should we do anything? does this date mean anything? or as the regular I-94 since we are still waiting for our pending I-485 app there is no problem.

I have yet to determine what BCBP was thinking when they started paroling individuals in for a year when using AP. Your wife's pending I-485 will keep her in legal status, no matter what the I-94 says.

Hi PrinceofJungle,

What I meant is my wife came in using AP. on her I-94 they stamped on it
"Payrolled until July 2004" does this date mean any thing? Do we have to apply for some kind of extension? or since we have a pending 485 application we do not have to worry about the date on I-94?

Thanks,|

The date on I-94 doesn't mean anything..In 2003, when I travelled to India, they put a stamp for July 2004. So, I asked my lawyer if my I-94 expires that day or if my AP expires that day (my actual AP expired end of 2003). Anyway, she said, the date on I-94 doesn't mean anything..hope that helps
