I-9 form

Did anyone working on EAD(after H1 expires), complete and submit a I-9 form to his/her employer?

I would appreciate any input regarding this.

Normally company's HR rep calls when the I-9 is getting expired. but Why dont you call your company's HR dept and update it yourself.

I am working on my third EAD. I was always required to submit a copy of new (renewed) EAD every year, but was never asked to fill new I-9 forms. same procvedure at my wife's company.

They would ask the first time.

It is just employment verification, so unless u moved to EAD from H1 with the same company, they would ask for I-9. It is only needed the first time.
