I-864a Question

My wife is sponsoring her both parents. Since she does not meet the income requirements, I will be filling out I-864a to make my income available. What I want to know is if I need to fill out two I864a forms (one for each) or just one would suffice and include names of both parents in #13? Please let me know.

You need two separate ones and don't write the other parents name on the form as it says specifically not to.

Thank you for the fast response. It is clear that two I-864As need to be filed. So I have follow up questions just to make sure I correctly fill out the forms.

1) Both parents will be immigrating together. But on each I-864, #9 will be blank and the name of the other parent should not be included. Correct? In this case, only one person is being added to the household size. Currently, there are myself, my wife and my child in our house. So total size would now be 4. Would it be the same on the second I-864? If not, where should I include the other parent to show that the total household size would be 5?
2) My wife is unemployed. So her income is zero. But on #25, the joint income as reflected on the tax returns need to be stated. Correct?
3) On #13 of I-864A, only one parent per form should be specified. Is this correct?
4) Do I need to submit evidence of relationship and residency? Is bank statement acceptable as residency evidence?

I appreciate your time and response.

1) correct....both forms will show 4
2) yes
3) correct
4)evidence for your relationship with your wife? No, because that was already submitted when you filed from I 130.... You must have submitted copy of marriage certificate( if she gained her citizenship through her marriage to you).
