Filing I-864
How do we fill out the following situation:

Wife sponsoring both parents, has no job.
Joint sponsor, her husband with Joint tax returns.

It says in the instructions the Sponsor has to fill it out and sign.
But there is an option for "i am the only Joint sponsor"

Does this mean, we have to fill out two I-864's for each parent?
one by the daughter, one filled in by her husband?
Please advise.

Thank you!

No help yet, guess this doesn't come up much.
I've done some research and found one other post
saying the spouse or household member would fill out I-864A

So the sponsor of the parents GC, would fill out I-864
have no income, ... but would she put in a copy of her
tax form with her husband filing I-864A?

if anyone can clarify this situation, please respond.

Yes, I-864 and I-864A, must be filed concurrently, with a copy of the (assumed joint) tax form. I'd also suggest including a letter explaining the situation so USCIS has no confusion. FYI, on an separate note, tax transcripts appear to be preferred by USCIS, as they lead to fewer RFE's.
