I 864 ez question -- 2009 tax transcript?

I am filing for my wife and will be filling in form 864 ez; it asks for tax returns/transcripts for last three years; I got for 06/07/08 but I just filed my 2009 taxes; dont have transcripts becuase it's still in processing and could take 6 weeks. DO I need to send an explanatin why I am not sending 2009 returns or can I just send a copy of returns; or send my w 2 for last year.

I've sent HR's 2009 tax papers for 864EZ and it was fine. Good luck

I am keenly following all your threads as I fall into the same category as yours. I feel you should send copies of the transcripts for 2009 as well even if they have not been approved.
