I-864/ Afffidavit of support... Need information

Hello everyone.
My husband and I are getting ready to file for me to get a green card. However he does not make enough money and I am in college. Therefore we need a financial sponsor. My brother is a resident and earns enough but he already co signed the I-864/ Afffidavit of support for one of his friends last year.
So basically my question is can he still sign the form for our petition or not?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.

He can sign an I-864 for as many people as he wants, as long as he has enough income to support the larger household size. Each additional person will increase his household size by 1. So if he signs for you, his household would be at least 3: himself, the person he already signed for, and you. More than 3 if he has other dependents.
