I-824 was approved just the other day (TCS- Applied May 17th 2002!!). What's involved from here on.
Is there anything I can do to expediate the process with NVC. My Lawyer made few key mistakes that tremendously delayed my I- 824. I do not trust her anymore and worried may repeat similar errors.
Also my PCC was issued May 2002. Any issues with its validity since its been >1yr.

Appreciate any help.

If you were asking INS to change your processing to CP...

then, the I140 approval will be forwarded to NVC for further processing. After that, you will follow the same steps as the rest of the CPers in this forum- browse the forum to get more info. You will need a new PCC which is less than 6 months old at the actual CP interview date. Good luck!;)
 
BTW, what mistakes did the lawyer make while filing for 824? I was curious to know if that caused the delay in approval of ur 824?
