Thanks Windy, I think you are the luckiest one in this forum. They rcv'd your applications in 2002 and looks like you are going to get your GC around November this year, not bad at all. I'm happy for you.

I hope they backdate my GC for a year. Otherwise, I will not hesitate to call my attorney immediately. Could they make a mistake again to backdate two years? Oh, I know..... I am asking for too much.

Anyway, I think it is on the way.

I think whatever the bug was not backdating the asylees GCs, they have figured it out. I think the asylees who are getting their cards these days are correctly backdated.
I hope you still don't think it is discretionary, do you? ;)

Ok, then, I am somewhat convinced. If they give it to somebody else but not me, it does not matter whether it is discretionary or not.

This bio thing has nothing to do with approval but is a must for GC production. For all of you guys who send them RFI back, you should be happy, coz it is virtually done. Am I right?

I got Mine as well. amazingly, i just got my RFI yesterday, and today i got I-797C. scheduled on July 30 , 2005 in New jersey .

Windywd did the BCIS send the Biometric to your Attorney office or directly to you, Please Share.

No, my online status did not change.

You can either call 800 number to check out or wait. Bottom line, even if you miss it, it won't affect your approval. Your GC is based on the approval date, not GC production date.
