I am scheduled to have my biometrics at Naperville on Jan 12. But I have a company meeting on that day. So I can't make it. In the appointment notice from USCIS, it states that "if you are unable to appear at this time, you may go on any FOLLOWING Wednesday at the same time noted above as long as you appear before 4/6/2010". So I guess all I need to do is to show up on Jan 13 at the same time for my appointment.

My question is what's the exact meaning of "any FOLLOWING Wednesday"?
The orginal appointment date is Jan 12 which is Tuesday.
Is Jan 13 following Wednesday? or should it be Jan 20?

Not sure....you can call 1-800 USCIS number and ask for guidance. Or if you are in proximity, pay a visit to Napervill center to find out...

It means any following Wednesday, even next day in your case.
 
Try going even before 1/12/10 and explain them your reason for doing the FP before your due date. I had my FP date for 1/5/2010 but since I was going to be out I completed it on 12/24/09
