I-765 Question

when the EAD is approved, does the online status change to 'approved' or just has an LUD? My 90 day processing is ending in a week and wanted to see if I could check if it is approved or not.

My I-765 reciept date is 11-02-2007 and filed as I-485 decision still pending (we had our interview in April 2006, but stuck in background check).

Does anybody have similar experience or advice?
 
Have you had an LUD or message change on the I765. Remember that this will be a totally separate receipt number to that of the I485. Your I765 message shouldn't mention your I485 at all.

Eventually it will state that it was approved and then it will state that it was mailed to you. Sometimes it will just show the date update indicating it is being looked at. Based on your receipt date it shouldn't be too much longer.

Yes the LUD date was updated to 01/22/07. However, the case status message was not changed. I am just nervous as to when my application will be approved as my H1-B visa expires in April 07 and there no infopass appointment at Charlotte DO office for January / February 2007.

Does anyone know what to do when there are no infopass appointment available?

I am in exactly the same situation. Interviewed for 485 in May, but still stuck in name check.
Anyway, regarding 765. I had an LUD on 1/16 w/o change in words. (At the same time, my I131 was approved). I called the 800# and was lucky enough to speak to someone who was willing to help. I basically told the lady that my case was outside of processing time (my nd was 10/13). The lady passed my call to a special agent who could look up detailed info in the database. The special agent told me that my I765 had been approved on 10/16 (when there was an LUD) but he had no idea why online status didn't change. Three days later (10/19), I received status change emails saying that the EAD card had been ordered and then 3 days later new emails said that the card had been mailed. Based on my experience, the LUD is a good sign. You may want to try the 800# and insist on talking to a special agent. Hope this helps.

Hi there

My experience is also similar.

spousal interview for GC in May 2006, Charlotte NC. Awaiting final decision "apparently". I guess my namecheck is complete.

Applied for my second EAD/i765 notice date 8th November.

Am on day 79 and stress levels rising by the day. My dream new job starts on March 5 and they are awaiting my work permit details.
