I-765: Manner of Last Entry? Status?

Hi Guys,

I have H-1B visa which was approved last year. Early of this year, I went back home and returned to US using AP.

I am filling I-765 now to renew my EAD. In item 14, "Manner of last entry", and item 15 "Current immigration status", what should I say? Anyone has the same experiences?

14. AP or Advance Parole
15 if on H1 write H1, if not on H1 write AOS pending
** you can also explain your situation on Cover letter for item 14 and 15 and sign the letter with date and at top write your Name, A#, DOB, I-485 reciept # address

Item 14, "Manner of last entry": Advance Parole
Item 15, "Current immigration status": H-1B (I-485 pending)
