I-765/I-140 Problem

Hi,

I applied for EAD in November 2003, still I didn't get my EAD yet. when I called BCIS, they said my case was on hold but they didn't said why it is on hold. Is anybody facing same problem? Any solution for this problem?

Any help will be greately appreciated.
 
There might be a query or an RFE being generated on your I140, hence the delay. Wait and see if you get any query on 140. EAD doesnt get into "hold status" until 140 has a problem.

that is correct. a friend of mine also had the same situation. they got their EAD as soon as I140 was cleared.
 
I got a query on 140 in Feb and I responded to it in the last week of Feb 2004 and I got the receipt. Still, EAD is pending. Do I need to wait till my 140 get clear?
 
If you are sure that your RFE is released after responding to the query and you have passed more than 90 days after filing 485, you can get it at your Local Office(Interim EAD).
 
First time I went to Local INS office, they said because my case is on hold they cannot issue interim EAD. 20 days ago again I went to Local office, they are saying my EAD application is denied two months ago. Nobody received any information (Either my attorney or my self). But my case status on line showing still old message.(We receieve your application on.....) So, I am not sure whether it is denied or in process. I am just keep on waiting for it. Any suggestions?

I made lot of requests to INS.. but everytime I got the same message.. (They are processing my case...) I don't know what to do now?
